When I started using a new Cingular-locked Sony Ericsson T61z, I noticed that it was using CSD (Circuit Switch Data, much like dial-up) rather than GPRS when I used WAP to access My Wireless Window, even though I had subscribed to Wireless Internet Express (GPRS). I found that I had to do the following to get GPRS working:
Note: To switch from GPRS to CSD during Nights and Weekends in order to use off-peak minutes rather than GPRS data, use Step 2 above and select GSM Only.
